Medzooka Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)


How do I register?

A: Simply click on the “Sign up” page, complete the registration and begin either listing a need under the “Buy” tab or bidding on items under the “Supply” tab.

 

I am a seller, how do I place bids?

A: If you are a supplier/distributor, register with Medzooka on the home page or through the marketplace page. After completing registration, simply log on, see what is out there on the bidding board by clicking the “Supply” tab and submit your quotes.

 

I am a HME provider can I submit quotes also?

A: Yes, there are no limitations on who can submit a quote for a listing. However, should you win the quote; you will have to abide by the terms of agreement for distributors.

 

How is shipping calculated for these items?

A: Medzooka does not influence shipping charges from the winning bidder. As the seller, it’s your responsibility to add your shipping costs into your bid. When a quote is submitted, all shipping and handling fees are to be included in the bids. Additional notes regarding shipping and handling can be included in the “Bid Proposal Comments” box.

 

What kinds of items are available through Medzooka?

A: Medzooka is a marketplace for all Durable and Home Medical equipment and Rehabilitation equipment. We are a business to business marketplace and cater to providers, and professional care givers in the industry.

 

What does it cost to use this service?

A: There is NO cost to use Medzooka if you are a buyer. Currently, there are no subscription fees. Sellers will pay a commission for all successful auctions. Sellers will pay a rate of 7% for all transactions below $5000USD and 4% for all above $5000USD.

 

How do I purchase on Medzooka?

A: During the BETA phase all purchases are finalized via telephone at 803-545-4172. Once the transaction is completed, you will receive a confirmation number and email verifying payment.

 

What happens if I don’t get my item or something is wrong with it?

A: If you do not receive your item(s) in a specific contact the winning bid company directly to try and resolve the issue. If your issue is not resolved contact Medzooka directly, give us your concern and we will take up your claim directly with the winning bid agency.

 

How are returns handled?

A: Returns are the responsibility of the winning bidder. If you need to return an item, contact the supplier directly. If your issue is not resolved, contact Medzooka directly. NOTE: Some suppliers require re-stocking fees and shipping expenses at the buyers’ expense.

 

I submitted a request for a bid and have not gotten any responses?

A: If you submit a request for bids and after the specified time frame have not heard from any bidders contact Medzooka directly. We will troubleshoot the issue and try and reach resolution as soon as possible. As an alternative, the listing time can be extended prior to the listing expiration.

 

I won a quote and did not get the shipping address, what do I do?

A: Contact Medzooka directly. The winning seller should automatically receive the shipping information from Medzooka once your bid was awarded.

 

I am a distributor how do I get paid? And what are the fees?


A: Medzooka will hold that purchase money in our  an escrow account for all item(s) purchased until we receive an Advanced Shipping Notice (ASN) once we receive the ASN that the item has shipped we will forward the purchase price less our fee to the distributor immediately.

 

Do you allow international participants?

A: Yes; however, all transactions are in USD.
NOTE: Some suppliers do not ship internationally so be aware that you may not receive as many quotes for international shipments.

 

Can I ship internationally; is there a fee for this service?

A:  Yes, as a supplier you are free to ship to any location of your choosing. We do not limit solicitation or bids based on location. There is no fee for international shipments or international submissions. We only charge a nominal fee when a transaction takes place.
